Charoite is a semi-precious stone found only along the Chary River at Aldan, in Russia.  It is thought to bring courage and enhance self-esteem.  The intense dark purple tones are incredible!  This simple, yet beautiful, filigree scroll link necklace is perfect in showcasing this piece.  Matching earwires included.  Earwire dangle is approximately 3/4".  Necklace length is 22", including pendant.  Pendant measures 1/2" x 1 3/4".  All solid sterling silver.
